Oracle is an EP by Sunn O))) which was sold during the band's 2007 Pacific Rim tour, and on the Southern Lord West Coast 777 tour. The 2XCD version was only sold at those live. In July 2007 a vinyl version of the album was released via the Southern Lord website, which shipped with a free single-disc version of Oracle on CD. The vinyl version was limited to 7,777 copies, while the 2CD version was limited to 2,000 copies.
The jackhammer in "Belülről Pusztít" was provided by Joe Preston. Belülről Pusztít is a Hungarian phrase meaning "destroys from the inside". "Helio)))sophist" was recorded during July 2005 in Europe. HeliO)))Sophist is a 45 minute drone track from shows played in 2005, and was to be a backdrop for a cast resin and salt sculpture created by Banks Violette.
