I work on classical music articles, focusing on Haydn and Mozart, as well as Sacred Harp music. My Wiki-goals are:

  • Accuracy, with everything taken from a peer-reviewed, properly cited reference source.
  • Clear organization, with important material up front and trivia included either in less prominent places or not at all.

Please note: someone apparently posts on web message boards under the name "Opus33"--it's not the same Opus.

Charles Rosen has described the Opus 33 string quartets (1781) as a turning point in the career of Joseph Haydn and in classical music generally. This is one of my favorite passages from these quartets (No. 2, third movement).
