[edit] Politica lalifista
Someone removed the deletion request tag. Can you replace it? I'm not an administrator and don't know the tag name. Mr. E. Sánchez (talk) 03:21, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- It looks like you found it, although the the original authors removed the blanking tag, so I don't think the blanking quite applies, but pure vandalism and nonsense would work too. You don't need to be fluent to read Rick Rolled, their hymn being LOL, etc. -Optigan13 (talk) 03:41, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] thanks
Thanks for your help with the internal links.
Another question, if I thank people on my talk page, will they see it, or should I do this, or some other way?
cheers, --Mak Allen (talk) 05:20, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- Depends on the person. Many, including myself will add the user's page to their watchlist to keep the thread together. But either way is good. -Optigan13 (talk) 05:21, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks!
Thanks so much for your support in myRfA, which closed successfully this morning. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 19:10, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Removal of notability tag
Would you care to readdress Quietdrive and remove the notability tag. .:DavuMaya:. 22:31, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
- Made some changes (diff) and responded on article talk page(diff). -Optigan13 (talk) 23:00, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
Thank you. I should have been more specific, but it is file names that are really giving me trouble. I don't know how to exactly get the file name. Yojimbo501 (talk) 22:13, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
- Still not sure what you mean, but just add another helpme flag to your page if you are still unsure. -Optigan13 (talk) 23:00, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Merge of inflammatory breast cancer
Hey, I noticed that there were merge tags on inflammatory breast cancer (proposing a merge into breast cancer), and I commented at Talk:Breast cancer#Proposed merger of inflammatory breast cancer. Afterwards, I noticed that a) you put the merge tags on about eight months ago, and b) you've since edited and improved the IBC article.
How do you feel about taking the tags off? It looks like there isn't a lot of interest in a merger. (I'm slightly aghast that nobody has paid attention to a maintenance tag on a high-traffic article like breast cancer for eight months, but that's another story....)
Cheers! TenOfAllTrades(talk) 01:32, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Nubie Help
Appreciate your responses Yday, and it has given me a starting point. The crux of my request is this: I've been reading on Wikipedia for quite some time, but I don't have the first idea what is going on behind Articles, behind the scenes, as it were. Is there a starting point for complete Nubies? I could just wade in and be guided by my hunches about how to work in this culture, but that is likely to lead to chaos. Very effective learning, but at a high cost to me and the other users that need to "educate" a nubie, yet again.
Is there a Tutotial, FAQ, Guide or the like that explains the really basic stuff, mostly non-technical stuff like etiquette and courtesy?
Again, thanks much for helping. Stephenlegh (talk) 13:26, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
