Talk:Optimum population
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
If anything can be added to this article, It would be appreciated.
www.optimumpopulation.org seems to disagree with the article, saying that the optimum population is one where the best possible quality of life for the population of a country that can be sustained in the long term. SDF.
There are lots of theories of optimal population, this article provides just one. For example, total utility maximisation, critical level utilitarianism, average utilitariansim, critical band theory, etc.
- I agree. The article has a serious NPOV problem as it is.--Tedd (talk) 00:47, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Change status to needs improvement
This article needs improvement and as previously mentioned does not agree with other sources
[edit] AFD?
Would an AFD be appropriate? I've had a look on google and this doesn't seem to be a scholarly concept or anything. It could easily be merged into existing articles, such as human population etc. Richard001 07:46, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
