"Opinions Won't Keep You Warm at Night" is the first single off Kisschasy's second studio album Hymns for the Nonbeliever. It is available on the iTunes Store for digital download and was released on June 2, 2007 on CD. The song peaked at #10 on the Australian ARIA Charts, spending an admirable 20 weeks inside the top 50. It is Kisschasy's most successful song in terms of chart performance.[1]
Kisschasy songwriter Darren Cordeux said in press release track notes "It's is a song about being happy with who you are and not letting other people's opinions of who you are or what you do affect you. At the end of the day what people think doesn't mean anything at all. People thought the world was flat once".

[edit] Music video
The video features people walking around, driving in cars, being normal people except for the fact they have overlarge cutout heads of world leaders; United States of America president George W. Bush, former Australian prime minister John Howard and former British prime minister Tony Blair. Tony is depicted as a female in a pink dress. John Howard, depicted as the younger brother of George Bush, is often seen stuffing food into his face, and missing, leaving a mess on his face. He also acts somewhat like a child, running around flapping his arms and looking excited. George Bush, depicted somewhat like The Fonz, often is holding hands with Tony Blair and is also shown having his arm around him. When George sees Dick Cheney, he abandons both Tony and John, who all end up at the same place- a Kisschasy show. When George attempts a stage dive, no one catches him.[2]
Guitarist and brainchild of the video Sean Thomas said it has nothing to do with the actual song. "I just wanted to make my own South Park," he said in an interview.
[edit] Berlin Chair cover
The cover of Berlin Chair was suggested by Sean as it is one of his favourite songs. You Am I drummer Rusty Hopkinson said in an interview on the You Am I forum: "I think that Berlin Chair was the first emu song -- Australian emo. We should get Kisschasy to cover it."[3]
