Opinio

Opinio is a Dutch weekly magazine, first appearing on January 18, 2007.

The magazine is an initiative of former Trouw editor Jaffe Vink. It appears in tabloid format (16 pages), and is pressed on rose paper. It does not contain any advertisements, nor pictures or editorial cartoons.

Opinio is largely funded by IT-entrepreneur Roel Pieper. Among its many contributors are Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Paul Cliteur, Afshin Ellian, Derk Jan Eppink and Bart Jan Spruyt. The magazine was stopped operations on june 3th 2008^[1]
