Ophira Dagan

Ophira Dagan, born in Beer Sheva, Israel on August 29, 1972, is an international independent film and television producer. After serving as a tactical communications operator in the Israeli military, Dagan received a certification degree in television and media from Israel’s Beer Sheva College of Technology. She also earned a bachelor of science in business management from University of Tel Aviv.
Following that, she began her career at Channel 3 (Israel), working in the marketing department, helping to brand and advertise the network. Next, for Channel 6 (Israel), she was named producer of "The Flying Class," a daily entertainment show that became the most successful children’s program ever to air in the country. She then went on to produce the critically acclaimed series "5th Ensemble," a poignant and provocative satire of Israeli life, a show that went on to receive the coveted “Golden Rose” award. Serving as a producer for Channel 2 (Israel) and the United Studios of Israel, Herzliya Studios, she became a pioneer in the Israeli cable industry, actively participating in the development of programming for the network. She established a documentary division and was involved with other fifty shows, including "No Limits," a lifestyle magazine hosted by MTV’s Eden Harel and shot on location throughout Europe as well as "Yam Shel D'maot," an acclaimed documentary for Reshet.
After relocating to New York, Dagan founded Framework Pictures and served as producer on two Sundance Film Festival official selections, The Technical Writer and Swimmers. She is currently developing Bouncers with hip-hop clan Full Force as well as Love Marriage, a romantic comedy with Soman Chainani.
