I like the end result in obtained in relation; I think the same general organization and format would be in place here. I don't have time this weekend, but I can volunteer to try something along those lines on Monday or Tuesday. Magidin 20:49, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

JA: Yes, I reckon they could use some help at the Operation (mathematics) site. It was such a headache just trying to preserve "moderately mathematically mature" articles in those other cases that I'm afraid I'm all too WikiWeary to go through that again. All I wanted here was something short and sweet that would serve as quick sidebar or notation-fixer for anybody who might need it. Good weekend, Jon Awbrey 21:00, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

Hmmm... Now I'm not sure. I'm perfectly willing to try to write up an article on operation (Universal Algebra), since that is the point of view with which I'm most comfortable. But this seems to have been changed over the weekend to "Operation theory", and I'm no longer so sure that what I would have to say on the former topic would be applicable here. I'm not sure why the title was changed, or what "Operation theory" is meant to convey, for that matter. Magidin 18:15, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
