[edit] Dwayne Cameron

While it probably counts as speculation until the day his credit appears on the title sequence, it's still rather blatantly obvious that the man in the spoiler scan is Dwayne Cameron, for anyone who's watched "Bully For Ethan" or "Idol". So I guess the question now is whether it's proper to list his name in the article or not. Arrow 04:53, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

That would count as original research. Whether or not the man in the scan is Dwayne Cameron is irrelevant.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 04:58, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

If it can be proved, and it can as his name is stated on Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive main page why cant he have his name listed on this page as well?

We don't have a source for either. That was added there by someone who shouldn't have done so.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 21:31, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

Hi, out of interest, is there a reason why Tyzonne's name is spelt without an "e"? Thanks

That's how it's spelt in the end credits.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 20:56, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Will Aston/Aton

Is Will's surname Aton or Aston and when was his surname revealed? Will Kinsella @ 2118hrs UK 26th July 2007

It's Aston, and it was revealed on-screen during the episode Behind the Scenes. Aton was apparently a pre-season typo. Arrowned 20:54, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] leader

When the Overdrive rangers lost thier powers and the Retro Rangers came, Adam was the leader. It says on Adams wiki page that he was leader. Now why doesnt it say it on Macks? I put it on there and someone removed it, twice. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.237.220.26 (talk • contribs)

Because he was a temporary leader for one, and also the Retro Rangers weren't an official team. The Wikipedia succession box templates are only for the full teams the season focuses on/are named after. Arrowned 18:04, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
Then that should be removed on Adams page since it is infact just a team up episode. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.202.42.117 (talk • contribs)
Already taken care of, though you should've asked someone to do that on that article's talk page, not here. Also, you guys need to start signing your posts. Arrowned 04:09, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Not a "Power" Ranger?

One of the qualifications of being a "Power Ranger" was always that the Ranger had to be human - thus the Aquitian Rangers and, say, the Phantom Ranger were simply "Rangers" and not "Power Rangers".

Since Mack is, apparently, an android, he would not be a Power Ranger then, correct? TheUncleBob 04:54, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

I don't recall the show itself ever saying anything to this extent. Is there a specific season that mentioned this? Arrowned 05:44, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

I guess I don't really have a source for this... In fact, I haven't watched Power Rangers on a regular basis in years when I tuned into an episode where Mack was reveled to be an android - and I remembered something about Power Rangers having to be human. Perhaps this is more fanon than canon... it's been a long time... TheUncleBob 05:57, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

There have been plenty of humanoid alien Power Rangers in the shows. The rest is all fan complainings.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 06:04, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
Yeah! There's a long list!
  • Alien Rangers (Aquitar)
  • Trey of Triforia (Triforia)
  • Andros (KO-35)
  • Zhane (KO-35)
  • Karone (KO-35)
  • Merrick (I Think...)
  • Trip (Xybra)
  • A-Squad Blue (Unknown)
  • Doggie (Sirius)
  • Kat M. (Unknown)
  • Mack (he's an android)
  • Tyzonn (Mercuria) Yinyang1195 00:44, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
Andros, Zhane, and Karone are flat out humans; this is noted in-show. Humans from somewhere besides Earth, but humans nonetheless. Merrick is a human from Earth, just from a past era. Arrowned 01:01, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
Thanks. But everyone else isn't human—thus proving that there can be non-human rangers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yinyang1195 (talkcontribs)
I added Tyzonn to the list. Is he from Mercury? He says he's a "Mercurian". —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yinyang1195 (talkcontribs)
According to the most recent episode (Home and Away I), he's from Mercuria, not Mercury. Also, please sign your posts. Arrowned 22:33, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Thanks. Yinyang1195 18:25, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
I find it fasinating that someone listed Andros in the main article as a non human ranger, but neglected remeber that that would stike Mack off as the frist nonhuman red ranger and left that part alone.Metropod 02:25, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
That's probably more of an edit error than anything else, considering the fact that Andros is human (just not an Earthling), and thus Mack's note would stay in place. Arrowned 03:00, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
As for the Alien Rangers, I think that's where the "Not a 'Power' Ranger" idea came from - they're never actually referred to as 'Power' Rangers - even the show's title was changed to refer to them as 'Alien' Rangers. But yeah, I guess it was just fannon than anything. ;) TheUncleBob 18:27, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mack's not the first

I don't know who keeps deleting my edits to the contrary, but Mack is NOT the first robotic/mechanical POWER RANGER (there've actually been 10 other robotic/mechanical Rangers previous to him, although 5 of them were destroyed and the current status of the other 5 is unknown), nor is he the first robotic/mechanical RED RANGER (that honor goes to the robotic copy of T.J. that was created while he was serving as the Red Turbo Ranger).67.169.253.173 (talk) 15:26, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

He is the first human-thinking android (as well as good robotic) Ranger, which is what we're trying to display. While the chain of existence does put him at #11 as far as overall mechanics go, he's so far down that line that it's not important to list, which is why we're trying to concentrate solely on the android bit.
