[edit] Rewrite

I hesitate to attempt a rewrite, not having the necessary info. But hopefully those who posted these articles are better informed. It is essential to name the units involved. The Canadian battle group is only a reinforced infantry battalion, although its composition changes every six months. In many of these actions, at company level, the identity of the company should be given e.g. C Company of the Royal Canadian Regiment Battle Group.

Likewise the members of the Van Doos (Royal 22e Régiment) were not part of the Battle Group, but were present as liaison/support i.e. OMLT(?), for the Afghan National Army. If they were in action, surely the ANA was there as well and its role deserves mention.

Also not mentioned in the article was that Op FS also saw the largest number of Dutch troops deployed in Kandahar Provence at that time, even if they saw no combat due to the Taliban making themselves scarce, it was a significant event in the deployment of NATO troops to RC South. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.34.79.203 (talk) 16:52, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
