Operation Whetstone

Operation Whetstone[1] was a series of 48 American nuclear tests conducted in 1964 and 1965. These followed the Niblick series and was in turn followed by Flintlock. All but one of these blasts were conducted beneath the Nevada Test Site. The individual blasts were:
