Operation Nimbus Moon

Operation Nimbus Moon was the 1974 clearance of naval mines and unexploded ordnance from portions of the Suez Canal conducted by the United States and its allies during the conflict between Egypt and Israel in 1973. The work was completed on December 20, 1974.
