- Of all the songs on the soundtrack, only 2 are not originally by Paul Westerberg: I Wanna Lose Control (Uh Oh) by Deathray and Wild Wild Life by The Talking Heads.
- Good Day was originally from Westerberg's Eventually album, written as a goodbye to a member of his band, The Replacements, who had died. Jill Culton, one of the film directors, mentioned on the DVD commentary that the use of this song was what inspired them to use Westerberg for them film.
- Paul Westerberg's version of Wild As I Wanna Be is an iTunes exclusive single, not featured on this album.
- At least three songs featured on this album (Any Better Than This, All About Me, and Whisper Me Luck) are not featured in the movie.
- Wild Wild Life is from The Talking Heads's film, True Stories.
