"Open Road" was the title track and fourth and originally final single from ex-Take That member Gary Barlow's solo debut album Open Road.
[edit] Comeback Success?
Due to "So Help Me Girl"'s lack of success in not making the UK Singles Chart's Top 10, it was to be the final single from the album. However, "Open Road" was more successful and reached No.7 in the UK causing many to believe that Barlow had a chance of reviving his solo career.
Barlows next single; however, was not issued for almost three years and failed to chart higher than number 16. Barlow did continue to write music and found platinum-sales success as a composer and producer for other acts; such as Delta Goodrem, Donny Osmond & Blue.
