Open Content License

The Open Content License is a copyleft license designed for distribution of open content material. This license is not compatible with the GFDL in that it requires derivative works to be licensed under the Open Content License.
The Open Content License, dated July 14, 1998, predates the GDFL and other non-software public licenses. While the license text is titled "Open Content License (OPL)" and the license is published at http://opencontent.org/opl.shtml another license released a year later, also by the Open Content Project is called the Open Publication License.
