Open Circle Theater
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Open Circle Theater is a multi-disciplinary performance company in Seattle, Washington. It is committed to the development of new works and adaptations that speak to the human condition through fantasy and mythic storytelling. Founded in the early 90’s, the theater’s black box space exists in a warehouse in the Lake Union/Cascade neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. Throughout their seasons, Open Circle's resident company unites with local directors, musicians, visual artists and performers, to bring fresh insight and invention to their creations of highly physical, ensemble-style theater. One of their popular events is to adapt and produce a H. P. Lovecraft play every season based on his short stories which connects to their continual experiments with new and adapted work.
