Category talk:Opera oratorios

Hey all, I feel like this category is redundant. Most oratorios are categorized under both oratorio and opera anyways (oratorio being a descendant and/or sub-genre of opera, depending on how you look at it) and "opera-oratorio" is a title reserved for a few special pieces and was never a proper genre. I've removed the category tag from the handful of pieces that had it (mostly my own doing in the first place) and posted talks on the pages that weren't my doing in the first place.

after a chat with another editor, it looks like my actions were hasty and this wasn't the right place to discuss this. I'm undoing my changes and I'll take this up at Wikipedia:WikiProject Opera. Sorry for the confusion! Fred 04:49, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
