Opal Tower, officially known as Opal 3, Leeds is an 82m / 269 ft / 27 storey building currently under construction in Leeds, England.

Upon completion in 2008, it will serve as student accommodation, providing 542 bedrooms comprising of a mixture of cluster flats and studio flats located near to the campuses of both Leeds University and Leeds Metropolitan University. The tower will become the second largest building in Leeds, after Bridgewater Place, for approximately a year after completion until The Plaza Tower is finished.

The initial planning application for this site on Wade Lane, Leeds City Centre, was submitted in July 2005, for a 23 storey student apartment block. This design was later altered after initial approval and permission was granted in December 2006 to build the current 26 storey tower which was formerly occupied by the Londoner public house. Construction work began in early-2007 with a completion date of 2008. The building was designed by Morrison Design and is being developed by Opal Property Group, with the site contractor being Ocon Construction.
