Description

Mosaik an der ehemaligen Stadtbücherei Opladen, enthält u.a. das Opladener Stadtwappen. Das Mosaik von Erwin und Helmut Plönes stellt "den Pendelschlag der geistigen Regsamkeit einer Stadt in Theatermaske, Musikinstrument und wissenschaftlichen Zeichen" dar (Zitat nach Rolf Müller: "Upladhin - Opladen", Selbstverlag der Stadtverwaltung Opladen, 1974). Inzwischen (Dezember 2007) wurde das Mosaik entfernt.
