The "Aeolus," a type 4-6-4 steam locomotive, leads Chicago, Burlington & Quincy's train No. 48, the Black Hawk, into Chicago, Illinois on August 10, 1939.
This image (call number OP-4324) is from the collection of the photographs of the late Otto Perry (b.1894, d.1970) held at the Western History Department of the Denver Public Library (http://photoswest.org/), and is copyrighted.
