Onychodus was an onychodontiform sarcopterygian fish which lived during the Late Devonian period.

The feature that distinguishes the Onychodus from other fish are the large parasymphysial tooth whorls in the lower jaw. This predator fish with lobed-fins reached 2 m in length.
