[edit] Proposed merger of Onterrio Smith and The Whizzinator

On some level it seems a natural fit since Whizzinator seems to have become synominous with Smith in the sports world and there currently is a lot of overlap in content. It seems to me, however, that both articles could be expanded in different directions. The Smith article could have a good bit more information on his stats/football career. The Whizzinator article could expand more on the discussions in congress, and it's status on the American Dialect Society’s 2005 words of the year list. Also, since it continues to be mentioned in the press in stories that don’t involve Smith, it is hard to predict when the Whizzinator story might rise up again. So perhaps it should stand on its own, if you'll pardon the expression. :-) -MrFizyx 16:53, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

  • I've added a tag on the Whizzinator page as well so others may join the discussion here. -MrFizyx 19:32, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
  • There has already been some discussion over at Talk:Whizzinator. Seems there was some consensus there not to merge. -MrFizyx 19:36, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
  • I don't know much about the situation but merging seems counterproductive. The article's about the person, not the drug device. If anything, Whizzinator should be merged into this article, not the other way around. Crystallina 03:01, 29 April 2006 (UTC)

This guy is a total moron to buy the device and to try to use it.
