The discussion of notability has been discussed in the wikiproject Rivers discussion page. There is nothing stated which contravenes the project's rules 00:31, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
By repeated decisions at AfD, all rivers and similar places are notable, cities towns and villages. Established WP policy for years, still consistently supported without exception. See WP:COMMON. If anyone would like to change the policy, feel free to try, but my advice is that success is extremely unlikely. I urge the WikiProject to endorse it. Feel free to remove andy speedy and prod tags placed on such articles. DGG (talk) 01:11, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
