The Ontario Engineering Competition (OEC)is an annual event which provides future engineers from various universities across Ontario with an opportunity to showcase their talents.
Competitors placing first or second in the various categories of this event have the opportunity to compete in the Canadian Engineering Competition (CEC).

After qualifying through a competition held at their respective university, competitors will participate in one of the following categories:
- Parliamentary Debate (aka Humorous Debate)
- Junior Team Design
- Senior Team Design
- Innovative Design
- Consulting Engineering
- Engineering Communications
