Talk:Onmyō Taisenki
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
i would like to request a list of characters and their backstories, just like how other anime-manga products do in wiki. Unfortunately i have not seen the whole anime and manga, so i cannot make a proper contribution to this article. -- Some guy
i'll definitely get to work on that as soon as i can
That's really not better than the last one. You apparently don't know what you're doing when it comes to entering in encyclopedia entries. Encyclopedia entries have no bias or opinion whatsoever. It's only "underground" because no company has liscenced it, and they won't because it deals with the practice of Onmyou, I'm sure. If you want me to, I'll ask the head of the fansub that's working on this to make an entry worthy of being put in here, because your entry was alright and all, but it lacks what an encyclopedia needs; no bias.
- fixes it for now, will ask his friend to make a better one when she gets back from Otakon*

This is the single worst article I have ever seen on Wikipedia. It needs MAJOR clean-up. [1] Ppk01 21:30, 1 August 2005 (UTC)
Um, yeah. This needs to go. I'd rather there be nothing than... this. Some people happen to LIKE overly cliched stuff like this. --Odd Evan
Fine. Fixed up, but you must know that this actually is an underground sensation for being bad. I wasn't kidding.
This article contains no neutral point of view and has very little information. The bulk is mostly a biased opinion and the part about underground sensation seems highly questionable and has no supporting facts. The tone of the article resembles a blog entry more then an encyclopedia article. Either revise your statements with a new tone and facts or remove. This article is barely useful as a reputable source of information on the subject. User:Mystic_Cat
It may be an 'underground sensation' as you call it (although I personally have no idea where you got that from) but the fact remains that this article is heavily biased, contains little relevant information and is not fit to be a Wikipedia article. Either somebody who actually KNOWS something about the series improves this article or I'm putting it up for deletion. Ppk01 15:19, 12 August 2005 (UTC)
I'm not deleting it. Well, rather, I can't beacuse I haven't the slightest clue how. Biased opinions cannot be had by people who have seen every freaking episode of this anime. If I wrote that mis-translations in a magazine were funny, that wouldn't be a biased opinion, it'd be truth. Not a one of you has seen this anime, so I've got no clue why you're whining. Watch an episode, or don't talk here. Seriously.
Yet again, you have come to a hasty generalization. I have seen every episode of this series since day one and was mortified at your disgraceful summary of the series. Personally, despite its use of recycled imagery, I find the series to have a robust plot, with well-developed characters and very nice costume designs. I would have gladly written an article myself about this anime, but I refuse to have it next to yours, therefore I must wait until your entry is removed. User:Mystic_Cat
I edited and cleaned up much stuff regarding the anime, but I'll be adding MUCH more information soon (shikigami list, toujinfu section, and possibly some info on the ryuuhashou, amongst many other additions). Too bad most people pass this off as a Digimon ripoff...it really is a great show and loads better. Snoopy007 00:53, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
the show is NOWHERE NEAR BAD! It is a very popluar show in Japan. In fact, and email the guy if you have to, but Vic Mignogna wants to dub Kogenta! And if Vic wants to be in it, then it don't suck! 76.110.121.218 22:33, 10 May 2007 (UTC)MAC

- Personally i thought the music is terrible. The rest i could definitely live with.
haha, really? i thought the OPs and the 2nd ED were great

- Oh, the opening and ending themes were good-mediocre to me -- not that amazing, but also decent enough to be not crap. It's the music that's in each episode that's horrible. All the orchestral pieces making the upbeat music... *shudder* If the in-episode music was just like the opening and ending themes, i wouldn't have to set the volume on mute whenever i'm watching the climax. :( --Kitetsu 06:13, 4 November 2006 (UTC) (also the same guy above)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:OnmyouTaisenki.jpg
Image:OnmyouTaisenki.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Onmyou Taisenki English version
I've noticed alot of stuff regarding english versions of the anime and manga... And I would like to know any source that has been used to provide said info.76.110.149.106 16:24, 20 August 2007 (UTC)MAC

- There is none (at least from Bandai Entertainment), that user has been going around and posting incorrect information and aquisition licenses. Deleted and warned.Lord Richard 03:27, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- "From Bandai Entertainment"? Does that mean there's a company that DOES hold dubbing rights? Because I've been DYING for a dub. (not really dying, but ya get wat I mean.) 76.110.149.106 21:32, 24 August 2007 (UTC)MAC
- NOTICE: this is my new account created now. anyway... I have dreamed hoped for, and rallied fans behind, a dub of Onmyou Taisenki (to the point where Vic Mignogna knows about it and wants to be in it). I'm... actually shocked that no one... not even Bandai Entertainment... will take it. Masaru Kasuaki 04:46, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
