Why is this blatant advertising? Advertising for what? The content about online colleges clearly inludes negative information about online colleges including diploma mills, degree mills and stesses that one should check the accreditation of online colleges at the U.S. Department of Education website. All of the content links go to U.S. Department of Education websites about accreditation, financial aid, etc. The one exception was in the content section that goes to the Sloan Consortium Report about online education and online colleges. This report was cited simply because there is so little research published about online education.
There were external links in the Online Colleges Directory section that went to Online Colleges individual pages (Boston University online program external link, Virgina College online program external link, etc.) These were clearly marked as external links.
The administrator needs to:
add comments to this talk page as to why this entry was judged to be blatant advertising
needs to explain why this user will be tagged as a source of spam after one entry.
As I've just explained, the Administrator who raised flagged this entry as blatant advertising did so without any feedback in the discussion/notes. I believe this is Administrator Abuse and if any more of my entries are so targeted, I will report it as Administrator Abuse.
