"Only God Can Judge Me" is a song on the first CD (Book One) of the album All Eyez on Me by Tupac Shakur. It features Rappin-4-Tay and was recorded while Shakur was signed to Death Row Records[1]. Part of the song deals with Shakur's relations with the media. In one verse he says: "Re-collect your thoughts, don't get caught up in the mix, cause the media is full of dirty tricks."[2] Mainly, however, it is a baring of his soul, and the collective soul of the "Thug". He says to the police, "There's a million mother fuckers dressing just like me" and "And they say it's the white man I should fear, but its my own kind doing all the killing here". And after explaining somewhat how life works on the streets, and his personal experience within that environment, choruses, "Only God can judge me now".
