Online lenders make loans to consumers via computer websites, online. Online lenders generally provide loan information, application forms, email or instant message assistance right on their website.
The online applications are generally transmitted over an encrypted web page for security.
Ideally an online lender will provide a telephone number prominently offering offline assistance to consumers also.
