[edit] Reasons for a Gallery

to start off this talk page of this article I figure this may be the best place to. For starters, some Console pages need a gallery, some don't, and I am not here to pick and choose. There are good examples of pages that need a gallery and pages that don't.

1. Console pages with Galleries.

• • Pros:
    • Gives editors a place to put pictures that may belong some were withen the article, if where the picture should be placed is already occupied by 2 or 3 pictures
    • Gives editors a place to put pictures, if there is no present place to apropiate place the picture
    • Gives readers a chance to actually see the product/screenshot so may be able to learn more about it, for both pros above
  • Cons:
    • Pictures that are from merged articles often get posted in the gallery
    • Because of previous con, galleries sometimes get too large
