Onithochiton neglectus subantarcticus is a subspecies of chiton in the family Chitonidae.

This subspecies is endemic to New Zealand, in the Auckland, Campbell, and Antipodes islands.

[edit] Description
The shell is long and narrow, with smooth valves.
Coloration is either uniformly chocolate-brown, or rarely with one or more of the valves whitish, patterned with concentric wavy brown lines.
Length is up to 30 mm, and width up to 14.5 mm.
