I have seen in some of the 19th century texts it is referred as vangavolu (vanga=egg plant volu=place).--Vyzasatya 17:53, 3 October 2005 (UTC)

Do we need this section? How can we verify the information that is put in there? (e.g. Ramakrishna Bandi Dhana Mukundam). I recommend deleting this section or providing enough details in discussion or references. --geordee (talk) 07:39, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
