[edit] Suggestions

It would be good to have some references that document where the information came from for the article. Also it could be broken up into some sections. Is there an infobox template that is suitable. Is there a postcode? Can you get a picture?

(random infobox removed)

Its looking better now. The museum might be interesting - can you say anymore about it than when it opened? What I want to know is why so many towns there end in -up! Further improvement may come about by adding pictures of the special items there suck as silos, war memorial, museum. There could be information about the roads - what are the roads/highways called that pass through the town, and where do you go on them. What is the climate like? Any more information on natural features like the Warperup Creek or hills or ground water, or geology or soils would be good.GB 01:35, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

"-up" is a Noongar suffix meaning "place of". In some inland districts "-in" or "-ing" (eg Narrogin, Wagin, Meckering, Benjaberring) means the same thing, just a different dialect I guess. Orderinchaos 02:22, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
