[edit] Production

According to Disney, the plot will involve the Cheetah Girls going to India to star in a Bollywood production. [3] Like The Cheetah Girls 2, it will be filmed on location in the foreign country. Adrienne Bailon confirmed that all of the girls have signed on for the film and are currently looking for costume and makeup ideas. In another interview with Hollywood.tv, Adrienne Bailon said that the movie would start filming on January 6, 2008 and that the movie would be filmed over a three month period. She also stated that "all of the original cast will be back".[4] However, later on, Raven-Symoné confirmed that she would not return for this film because she is busy with her fourth studio album and was filming movies such as College Road Trip.[5]

Lynn Whitfield will also not return due to Raven not being in the movie. Whitney Houston, who executive produced the first two movies, will not return to her duties for this one as well.[6] The film has featured a "play your part" poll on Disney Channel and began filming in Udaipur, India in January.[7]

One World is expected to be the title of the Bollywood film the girls are competing to be in.[citation needed]

It has been reported that Disney Channel will air a preview during the premiere of Camp Rock.[citation needed]

The movie will be released on August 22, 2008 and will have a Road to Cheetah Girls One World to promote the movie.
