The "is this the end of Rico?" line is not Cagney, but Edward G. Robinson in Little Caesar. [This change has now been reflected on the main page.]

I would be interested to know how much of this film was shot on location, and where those locations are, as surely it is an interesting record of West and East Berlin of the time. Also, did Coca-Cola lend any support to the film? And what is the citation for MacNamara being a reference to Robert MacNamara? Could it just be a coincidence?Pubwebmaster 14:20, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

Most of the film was shot on the set, including the scenes at the "Brandenburg gate" and on the "Tempelhof airfield", which were rebuild at Bavaria Studios in Geiselgasteig near Munich. Car rides were shot on location in Western Berlin, as were the scene dealing in Eastern Berlin like the one at the "Grand Hotel Potemkin", actually the ruin of the Anhalter Bahnhof in Berlin-Kreuzberg. Today the Coca-Cola plant is not in operation any more, the building however can be found at Hildburghauser Straße in Berlin-Lichterfelde. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.180.114.231 (talk) 11:17, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
