The Oneness University was established in 1994 by co-founders Sri Bhagavan and his wife, Sri Amma. According to Bhagavan it was created for just one purpose, "To set man totally and unconditionally free, bringing about the Golden Age of Enlightenment." Bhagavan continues, "This University exists to help you become enlightened; to help you become God-realized; to help you become a real human-being."
