"One More Chance" is an hip hop song co-written and co-produced by Yummy Bingham and Rockwilder. It was recorded in 2005 by Yummy Bingham and was released as her third single in the USA in May 2006 and her second UK single in November 2006. This is what Yummy call her favorite track from her album.
In March 2006, when Yummy Bingham's single "Is It Good To You" was meant to impact radios but wasn't picked by DJs, the label decided to quickly launch a new single. On March 19, they announced "One More Chance" to impact radios the following April 24.
The single crashed down at #2 Most Added song at Urban radios. The 12" single hit the stores on May 2, 2006 and the digital release followed on May 23. In the USA, the single had a very hot start but the heat didn't maintained. Another reason for the flop of "One More Chance" was Yummy going through label troubles, getting into business disagreements with Rockwilder and Randy Parker, both co-CEO, with her, of Muzic Park Records. Yummy decided to keep being in part of owning the company because of the projects that were currently running (her album) but she break her management agreements with the label and changed her manager.
In the UK, "One More Chance" get extensive airplays on BBC 1xtra radio. Radio star Trevor Nelson made the song one of his "hijacked tracks" and the single stayed 5 weeks at #2 of the BBC 1 xtra R&B charts (based on the sales of her 12" import single). This caught the attention of Motown's parent UK company, Islands Records who decided to give Yummy Bingham a UK release.
After the release of her debut UK single "Come Get It", the following "One More Chance" is coming in January 2007. The promo 12" single has been distributed on November 20, 2006 to UK DJs.
