One Cebu

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

One Cebu (1-CEBU) is a provincial political party based in the province of Cebu, Philippines.

It was formed by the Garcia family at the onset of the 2007 Philippine elections, most notably incumbent provincial governor Gwendolyn Garcia, after her clan (led by now Representative and former Governor Pablo Garcia) and her group bolted Lakas-Christian-Muslim Democrats and joined President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's political party Kabalikat ng Malayang Pilipino (Kampi), of which One Cebu is affiliated with.

There are no results available of the last elections for the House of Representatives, but according to the website of the House, the party holds 5 out of 237 seats (state of the parties, June 2007).
