One, released in March 2005, is the debut album by English singer-songwriter/musician Lethy. It became an underground album, not very succesful, but there were many people who liked it. It got to #48 in the UK charts and #47 in the Irish charts. Four singles were released, "Moderate, "A Kind One", I'd Do It Again For You" and "Closer".
[edit] Style
Inspired by artists such as Tori Amos, Björk and Fiona Apple, Lethy composed songs with her acoustic guitar and piano, later adding electric guitar, electronics and in some cases, other instruments such as flute and clarinet. There are two short acoustic songs: "How I Found You" and "You Calling". The most electronic songs are "Sensual" and "Ecstasy". Some critics called it an easy listening album with jazz elements.
