One-Act Play Festival

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The One-Act Play Festival is a competitive festival of one-act plays. The plays are usually presented over a week, or weekend, and are judged by an independent adjudicator, normally a member of GODA.

In the UK there are two main organisations operating festivals

AETF - The All England Theatre Festival This is a knock-out competition covering several regional rounds and resulting in an "All England" final

NDFA - The National Drama Festival Association Each festival is distinct but at the end of the year the adjudicators select the best plays to enter a "British All Winners" competition.
