Onchidella obscura is a species of small, air-breathing sea slug, a shell-less marine pulmonate gastropod mollusc in the family Onchidiidae.

This species is endemic to Cook Strait, including D'Urville Island, in New Zealand.

This sea slug is found in the mid intertidal zone.

[edit] Description

This species, along with all others in the family, does not have a shell, and has the general appearance of a limpet. Its dorsal surface is smooth.

The external coloration is black with small white dots.

The length is up to 15 mm, and width up to 11 mm.
