Once Upon a Christmas

Once Upon a Christmas was a 1984 Christmas album by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. The album was accompanied by a now classic CBS TV special (which has been rerun numerous years), though never issued on Video or DVD despite public demand (bootleg copies have been produced in large quantities). A single, "The Greatest Gift of All" (#53 Country, #81 Pop, and #40 Adult Contemporary) was released from the album. In the United Kingdom "Christmas Without You" was issued as the single. This album became one of the biggest Christmas albums of the 1980s and still sells today.

In the early 2000s, the album became available on iTunes. The track listing has been slightly rearranged. Track 3 is now Track 4, Track 4 is gone, Track 5 is now Track 6, Track 6 is now Track 3, Track 7 is gone, and in its place is "Hard Candy Christmas". Track 8 is now Track 5. This is the same version currently available on CD at Amazon.com and other retailers.
