CSD G4 and the db-repost tag
FYI, I saw that you tagged Owen wilsons death with the {{db-repost}} tag. The article was not eligible for speedy deletion under that criterion, because it had never gone through an Articles for deletion debate. However, it was clearly negative information about a living person, so I deleted it under criterion G10, attack pages ({{db-attack}}).
Net result's the same—the article got deleted—but for future reference, the db-repost tag can't be used if the article was previously speedy deleted or deleted through the proposed deletion process, but only if it went through AfD.
- Ok, I understand. Thanks for that! I will keep that in mind for future reference! --On the other side Contribs|@ 01:24, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

- ) sure thing, boss! It's probably easier to put in a redirect. there, anyway.

otolaryngoscope
You set my otolaryngoscope page up for speedy deletion; fair enough, I did a pathetic job of trying to create a stub in the hopes someone would expand it. Anyway, I looked around more and found a page for 'Otoscope'. I'm going to try to create a redirect page to that, since that would make sense, duh. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Biorem (talk • contribs) 19:29, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Good idea! And I hope you weren't offended in any way when I marked it for deletion. I was just trying to assume good faith and when I saw that it had little content in it, I marked it for deletion under WP:CSD#A3. If you were offended, then I apologize. --On the other side Contribs|@ 22:50, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
Your rollback request
You're welcome :) Acalamari 23:28, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Female action figure
I am looking for an article on a specific niche among femfigs. They are a mainstay in Playscale Miniaturism, but not well-represented because they are a crossover between fashion dolls and action dolls. --Joe Webster (talk) 02:20, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, but the only thing I can suggest is checking out WP:SEARCH. This will give you tips on how to search for an article and how to narrow and expand your search. On the other side Contribs|@ 02:30, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
Presently, there is no such article to find. I was creating the basis for one and framing that request in the discussion page. They are not represented in the action figure, fashion doll or playscale pages. --Joe Webster (talk) 02:37, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
- If you want to request an article, please see WP:REQ. On the other side Contribs|@ 02:38, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
I did that, but the title, alone, doesn't convey the distinction of what I am requesting. "Femfigs" are actually female action DOLLS due to their redressability, with 12" GI Jane being the founding example. Modern use of the term "action FIGURE" has molded-on clothing and is probably adequately covered by the action figure article. This article won't get written without a specific request in its discussion page. --Joe Webster (talk) 02:49, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, but WP:REQ is the best I can suggest. --On the other side Contribs|@ 16:10, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
Tricordia
Thanks for trying, but the redirect from Trichordia still doesn't work. Any clue? Kww (talk) 22:58, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
- Now it works. Not a clue as to why it was refusing to redirect.Kww (talk) 23:02, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
- Sometimes it takes a few minutes for Wikipedia to update their servers but thanks for reporting it anyway! --On the other side Contribs|@ 23:07, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
Peter taroff
Thanks for your hard work on vandal/new page patrol. You recently tagged Peter taroff for speedy deletion under G1, Patent nonsense. My read was that it was purely an attack page - something we need to be pretty vigilant for. I deleted it under G10, attack page and issued a 4im warning. Please don't be shy about tagging attack pages as such and issuing 4im warnings or making WP:AIV reports when appropriate. Cyber-bullying is real and has serious real-world effects. That said, enjoy your wikibreak, and when you return, keep up the great work. Toddst1 (talk) 01:38, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
On the Living Dead
No worries, I saw it was a re-creation but didn't realize that AfD was the only standard on that tag. Sorry for the goof.--Torchwood Who? (talk) 01:42, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

With rollback
Hi, sorry for the delay in replying: I've been offline the last couple of days. Are you sure you want rollback removed for the reason you requested? MediaWiki rollback can be used alongside Twinkle, and many people who have Twinkle also have rollback. It's up to you, of course, but I just wanted to confirm. Acalamari 16:12, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
- On a second thought, I will keep the rollback feature just in case the Twinkle program begins to malfunction so that way I have a backup tool. --On the other side Contribs|@ 20:07, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
- That's fine then: in fact, the reason for your keeping it is the same reason I decided to confirm if you did want it removed or not. :) Best wishes. Acalamari 20:21, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks dude
had a devil of a time looking for that particular csd template!--Nkrosse (talk) 18:52, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Billy Donovans page
While taking some lines off of Billy Donovans page, I accidentaly erased the 3 years he coached at Marshall and do not know how to get that part back —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.163.244.185 (talk) 01:16, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Too busy huh?
If you're so busy, why are you proposing to delete a page that I am currently working on?
My page, Transformation of culture is a work in progress, and will be the repository of years worth of work by a preeminent scholar in the field. I do know the difference between an encyclopedia and a dictionary. Blueelectricstorm (talk) 00:53, 29 March 2008 (UTC)Blueelectricstorm (talk) 00:32, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- I'm sorry. I didn't know it was a work in progress. However, telling other editors to "get a life" is considered bad etiquette and may be considered a personal attack by some. Please, always act civil and assume good faith. --On the other side Contribs|@ 00:37, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
Sorry about my hasty comments
I do apologize for the language I used in my last comments. I will refrain from personal attacks in the future. Thanks for your understanding. As you can probably guess, I'm relatively new to to editing in Wiki. Blueelectricstorm (talk) 00:52, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- No problem. Happy editing :) --On the other side Contribs|@ 16:33, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
