"On The Way Down" is the debut single of Ryan Cabrera released from his 2004 studio album Take It All Away. Won 2006 ASCAP Pop Award for most performed song of that year [1]. Co-written with hitmakers Curt Frasca and Sabelle Breer, the team behind hits for Stacie Oricco and Avril Lavigne. Reaching #1 on airplay charts, it peaked at number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100. The music video features Ashlee Simpson playing Ryan Cabrera's love interest.
The music video for the single was filmed in Austin, Texas, at the University of Texas at Austin.
