Japanese hard rock band Loudness' 14th studio album and their second and last with American vocalist Mike Vescera before his leaving to Yngwie Malmsteen's band Rising Force, the album On The Prowl is a compilation of self-covers. In addition to the covers re-recorded for this album, the album contains 4 new songs written by the band (including Vescera).
This album, together with Soldier of Fortune, is considered to be one of guitarrist Akira Takasaki's greatest guitar works.
