On the Franches Mountains

"On the Franches Mountains" is a yodeling song, recorded in 1967 by the Jura Orchestra. The song appears on the album Swiss Mountain Music: Jura Bernois Country Dance with Yodeling (Capitol T-10601).

The song is featured prominently on the U.S. television game show The Price Is Right's pricing game "Cliff Hangers." The full song is used as a prize cue when trips to Switzerland and Holland are offered.

To date this album is not available on CD and can only be found on vinyl LP through a second hand shop or internet auction site.
