On Fire is a record album by Galaxie 500 released in 1989 on the record label Rough Trade. It was recorded at Noise in New York City. Since its release, the album has yielded much critical acclaim, including being named as the 16th best album of the 1980's by Pitchfork Media.

In 1997, Rykodisc re-released the album with a three bonus tracks. The CD version of the re-issue also included the music video for the song "When Will You Come Home".
