Sorry

I am sorry that I have been recently quite agressive and annoying. As you can seen from my userpage, I am obviously not in the mood for anything. I hope you understand. Sincerely--DurzaTwinkTALK 21:20, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

Actually styrofoam1994 broke the policy, I stopped at exactly 3 reverts. ^_^--DurzaTwinkTALK 03:28, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

We both broke it, but you started it. Look at the history. contribsSTYROFOAM☭1994TALK 03:47, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

About your warning

I was not aware of that rule and I apologize. However, Styrofoam 1994 sent me the question to MY user talk as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Boromir Captain of Gondor (talkcontribs) 23:41, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Ok, thanks for understanding, and sorry about that error. I have done so in each of my posts so far, but forgot about it in this instance. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Boromir Captain of Gondor (talkcontribs) 23:47, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Help from Admins

The article Statewide opinion polling for the Democratic Party presidential primaries, 2008 was moved from [[Opinion polling for the Democratic Party (United States) presidential primaries, 2008]] and I can see no mention of the move or development of consensus for a move of the talk page. Opinion polling for the Republican Party (United States) presidential primaries, 2008 is still an article!

As a result of the move the new article seems to be extremely hard to find. It does not show up on Google and the redirects seem to go to Statewide opinion polling for the Democratic Party presidential primaries, 2008. I put a see also link at the top there to link to the state-by-state article.

I would like admin help to sort out why it was moved and restore the accessibility for people coming from Google or trying to find the old article. (The article about polls of Republican vs. Democrat hypotheticals used to link there as did the article about the 2008 Democratic primary process.) The whole thing seems to be a royal--or rather presidential--mess. I sarcastically posit that there is a cabal. Infoporfin (talk) 00:04, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

Helping Singapore ano

Thank you Omtay (If I told you how long ago I used piglatin, you would probably not believe me.)

I left the tag alone as I'm not sure I was any help.

It's a new editor, making what look to me to be good faith edits, and getting reverted on some and bot cautioned on others.

I'll follow-up to see what the replies are to the questions I asked. Wanderer57 (talk) 19:59, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

Cassie Bernall

I did what I did to Cassie Bernall because an editor by the name of Anetode twisted the rumors of what happened. All the real witnesses were killed. I will revert this if I don't hear from you. KC109 (talk) 23:09, 5 February 2008 (UTC) [[1]]

Many thanks

For the help on uploading the required image. With the Helper it was automatic. I don't understand the userscript idea. Thanks LouisBB (talk) 20:57, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Template:MTVoter

A tag has been placed on Template:MTVoter requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{tranclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 16:14, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Help request

An editor has removed a POV tag I put on a section of an article, the same day I put it up. This followed a revert of my removal of the same POV material. I'm not asking you to judge anything, it's just that I think that to remove a tag like that is evil, and I want him drawn and quartered. If there is no provision in Wikipedia for drawing and quartering, could you please tell me how to have him taken outside and shot? I don't necessarily need him to suffer, a simple pistol to the back of the head a la the Soviet gulags would do. But seriously, to whom do I appeal to have this editor reprimanded if his action is indeed reprimandable? --Milkbreath (talk) 17:32, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

As I said, I'm not asking you to get invloved at all, I just would like a link to the place where one registered user complains about the conduct of another. But, since you asked, here is the article talk page where the matter is being discussed. See section "Rush". --Milkbreath (talk) 17:45, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
I have every intention of being the most civil being on this planet, but now I'm not sure I know what that means. What is non-civil about "one registered user complains about the conduct of another"? An editor has transgressed and I'm in no position to do anything about it. Should I simply replace the tag in defiance of his removal? Is it considered civil behavior to remove POV tags before debate has occured? I'm asking in all sincerity. --Milkbreath (talk) 18:02, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

Changing Guardian Unlimited to guardian.co.uk

Thanks for your quick reply; the reason I'm requesting the change is that the site has just been rebranded from Guardian Unlimited to guardian.co.uk (as per http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/inside/2008/02/changes_to_the_guardian_websit.html). Hope this clears things up. Regards. --roddie digital (talk) 23:27, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

I've put the request in, I'd appreciate if you could maybe take a look and ensure I've done it correctly as I've no experience in moving pages. --roddie digital (talk) 23:49, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
Haha, nice one; thanks for the formal welcome. One small request: I'm not too keen on the cookies, any chance I could exchange them for a bowl of fruit or something? ;) --roddie digital (talk) 00:46, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
Much appreciated! I'm sure I'll be calling on you for more help in the near future, probably even for this article move, as I fear things may become a tad messy trying to tie up all the loose ends... --roddie digital (talk) 00:59, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Hello Omtay38

Thank you for your help on my graphics question, which I managed to resolve as I already have a username for it, but still lack experience.

I now have to take you up again on your offer to help.

I am trying to apply a useful little English template on the HuWiki under hu:user:LouisBB/Kvantummech sablon. Some of the lists behind the windows will have to be changed to the actual article titles already there, but my problem is: When on the bottom line I click on any of the links I get forwarded onto the English WP (Quantummechanics) instead of the local Kvantummechanika 1) szócikk(=article) 2) vitalap (=discussion) or 3) szerkesztés (=edit this page).

If you have experience in resolving issues like this one I would much appreciate your help. Thank you in advance LouisBB (talk) 14:56, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

Many thanks for the help. The problem is resolved. I had missed out the translation of the argument of Tnavbar, as I did not realise that this was the line immediately above the Title bar. Thanks again LouisBB (talk) 21:00, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
