Omri Casspi (Hebrew: עמרי כספי‎, born June 22, 1988 in Yavne, Israel) is a professional Israeli basketball player currently playing for Maccabi Tel Aviv at the small forward position.

While only playing ten minutes of the game, Casspi shot three field goals from three attempts, including a three point shot, for a total of eight points against the New York Knicks during a charity game on October 11, 2007 between Maccabi Tel Aviv and the Knicks.

In 2008, Omri declared himself for the 2008 NBA Draft. Omri Casspi is projected to go in early second round or mid second round and is believed to be the best Israeli prospect ever to have native play in the NBA since Lior Elihaou and Yotam Halperin almost did. He will probably not become as good as Tomer Peled though.
