[edit] The Omnicrons
The Omnicron race in the Heroscape Universe are part of the artificial Soulborg race that originates from Alpha Prime. Their origin is shroud in mystery, who built them, if they have organic components inside or are pure AI is unknown. Alpha Prime is bathed in a civil war mainly fought between the heroic Omnicron and the hostile Zettians. Much of the Omnicron faction remains unknown.
Because of their robotic nature, Omnicron technology is quite sophisticated, especially their sniping weapon technology.

(Deathwalkers and Zettians are not the only Soulborg species summoned to Valhalla from Alpha Prime. Their long-standing Omnicron enemies were recruited by Utgar's enemy, Jandar, and they continue their civil war on the battlefields of Valhalla. The Omnicron warriors are not so heavily armored as the other Soulborgs, nor is their combat programming so flashy; but their deadly accurate sharp-shooting skills have proven to be invaluable assets to their allies.)
