[edit] Using the [edit] link

When you react to the postings in a section of a talk page or Reference desk page – for example to add a "thank you" note – the best way to do that is to click the [edit] link to the far right of the section title, and add your contribution to the end of the edit window. This way, the section will keep the thread together. See also Help:Section#Section editing, Wikipedia:Talk page#Formatting and Help:Edit summary.  --Lambiam 06:36, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Latin

Hi Omidinist, if you ever need to look up a Latin word, you could use William Whitaker's Words program, which will tell you all the parts of speech and give you a definition. It won't replace the explanations on the Reference Desk, but it might save you some time! Adam Bishop (talk) 08:37, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
